Whole Chicken Soup
Ingredients
- 1 chicken, bone in
- 3 cloves garlic
- 3 stalks celery
- 1 onion
- 2 or 3 carrots
- Thyme
- Rosemary
- Oregano
- Parsley
- Basil
- Salt & pepper
Instructions
- Fill stockpot with water.
- Place chicken inside.
- Bring to a boil to make stock.
- Strain stock and remove chicken.
- Add vegetables and herbs.
- Bring to a boil, and then set to simmer.
- Pick apart chicken and add meat.
Notes
If flavor is inadequate, add 1/4 bouillon cube.
