Baguette
Ingredients
- 3 cups bread flour
- 1.5 cups cold water
- 1 tsp active dry yeast
- 1 tsp salt
Instructions
- Mix everything until combined.
- Knead for 30 seconds. Cover with let cloth, let rise for 45 minutes.
- Repeat 3 times.
- Divide dough in half. Cover with let cloth, let rise for 15 minutes.
- Roll each half into a baguette shape. Cover with let cloth, let rise for 20 minutes.
- Make 3 knife cuts on the top of each loaf. Spray each loaf with water.
- Bake on top rack of oven at 400 F for 20 minutes. Place a baking dish with warm water on the bottom rack.
