Nacho cheese
Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 2 Tbsp flour
- 1.5 cup milk
- .25 tsp paprika
- .25 tsp cayenne pepper
- .25 tsp onion powder
- .25 tsp garlic powder
- 2 cups freshly grated cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Make a roux; melt butter in saucepan. Whisk in flour until lightly browned.
- Pour milk in, whisking.
- Add in spices.
- Heat until thickened.
- Add in cheese a little at a time until melted.
- Add salt and pepper.
- Serve warm.
Notes
Do not reheat in microwave. Test cheese with chips before adding salt/pepper.
