Snickerdoodles
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 1.5 cup white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2.75 cup flour
- 2 tsp cream of tartar
- 1 tsp baking soda
- .25 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 Tbsp sugar
- 2 Tbsp cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 F.
- Cream butter and sugar together.
- Add eggs and vanilla and blend well.
- Mix together flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt together.
- Mix dry ingredients into wet and mix.
- Shape dough into balls.
- Mix sugar and cinnamon together and roll dough balls in sugar/cinnamon mix.
- Bake for 10 minutes.
Notes
Cookies are poofy and then settle down when cooling.
