Sweet and Sour Pork Spare Ribs
Ingredients
- 2 lbs pork ribs
- 2 Tbsp Chinese black vinegar (zhen jiang vinegar)
- 1 Tbsp light soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp dark soy sauce
- 5 slices ginger
- 3 scallions
- 2 Tbsp oil
- 2 Tbsp sugar
- 1 Tbsp tapioca starch
Instructions
- Wash then boil pork for 5 minutes.
- Wash again. Over high heat, fry ginger in some oil until fragrant. Add pork ribs, fry until meat starts browning.
- Except for sugar and tapioca starch, add everything else. Turn heat down to low, cook for 30 minutes.
- Add sugar. Mix tapioca starch with some water, add to pan.
- When the sauce thickens, add chopped scallions. Stir fry for 2 minutes.
